FROM BOSTON and POINTS SOUTH
Route 1A North (Sumner Tunnel) to Salem. Entering Salem, you'll be on Loring Avenue passing through Vinnin Square (lots of stores - Blockbuster, KFC on left; Mobil gas station, Staples on right). Approximately 3/4 mile after Vinnin Square Loring Ave. turns sharply to the left. You will see tidal flats on the right and Salem State College South Campus on the left. Approximately 1/2 mile after South Campus, you will pass a low greenhouse on the right - it's now a private school - then a small sign on the right for the Salem Enterprise Center. There will be a major intersection with lights. The street will fork off in three directions. At this point, continue straight onto Canal Street. Eastern Bank will be on the left and a liquor store will be in the middle of the fork. You will pass Bertinni's Pizza on the left, Mc Donald's on the left, and Curves and Karate Studio on the right.
Immediately after Curves you will see Big Fred's on the right and a set of lights directly in front of you. Go straight through the light and pull into the parking lot on the right for the Hawthorne Building 201 Washington Street. You will see Starbucks, T-Mobile, Mail Boxes Etc., My Florist, and Bank of America.
A Quest Actor's Studio is on the second floor in Suite 3 directly above Mail Boxes Etc. across the street from the Post Office. Park in front of the building. If this lot is full, there is a public lot across the street in front of the Post Office.
FROM POINTS NORTH
Route 95 North/South to 128 North take the Lowell Street exit heading towards Salem and Peabody. Follow Lowell Street to downtown Peabody. You will see a large monument in the center of town keep going straight. Lowell Street then becomes Main Street. Keep going straight. You will pass many small stores in the center of Peabody and the Peabody public library on the left.
Main Street becomes Boston Street when you enter Salem. Keep going straight. Boston Street will end. You will see a large garage in front of you, a fried chicken restaurant on right and pizza restaurant on left. Take a left onto Essex Street. You will pass Salem Library. You will then come to an intersection with Jerry's Army and Navy Store in front of you and the Salem Witch House on the left.
Take a right onto Summer Street and then take a left onto Norman Street. There will be a major intersection in front of you with the U.S. Post office on the immediate right. Go straight through the intersection. Norman Street becomes New Derby. You will see the Hawthorne Building 201 Washington Street diagonally on the right with Bank of America at the corner of the building closest to the street. Pass the Hawthorne Building on the right and enter the Walgreen's parking lot on the right. Take another right and head up to the back of Starbucks coffee. Take another right.
A Quest Actor's Studio is on the second floor in Suite 3 directly above Mail Boxes Etc. Park in front of the building. If this lot is full, there is a public lot across the street in front of the Post Office.
FROM MARBLEHEAD
Route 114 West (Lafayette Street) into Salem. A Quest Actor's Studio is approximately 1 mile from Salem State College main Campus. On Lafayette Street after passing Salem State College, Temple Shalom will be on the right and the Saltonstall School be on the right shortly after that.
Bear left onto Washington Street and then turn right onto Washington Street. Pull into the parking lot on the right for the Hawthorne Building 201 Washington Street. You will see Starbucks, T-Mobile, Mail Boxes Etc., My Florist, and Bank of America. A Quest Actor's Studio is on the second floor in Suite 3 directly above Mail Boxes Etc. Park in front of the building. If this lot is full, there is a public lot across the street in front of the Post Office.
